A .550 SILVER DECORATED SUDANESE MATCHLOCK JEZAIL, CIRCA 1850, no visible serial number, with 44 in. octagonal sighted barrel having a slightly swamped muzzle, scroll decorated breech with traces of silver inlay. the pan with hinged cover, full stocked with two silver barrel bands, the breech area and butt decorated with embossed silver panels, bands and disc's, and fitted with a large ball shaped butt-cap, together with a brass North African priming flask with white metal decoration
