A .577 SNIDER MK II THREE BAND VOLUNTEER RIFLE BY BARNETT, CIRCA 1868, no visible serial number with 36 1/2 in. London proofed barrel rifled with three grooves, fitted with full military pattern sights, plain lock simply marked 'BARNETT / LONDON', regulation brass mounted full walnut stock, complete with sling swivels, rod replaced, good untouched walnut stock, some wear commensurate with use, barrel has been painted black at some time in past traces of which remain, some pitting, an easy restoration project that would increase in value
