A GROUP OF SIX AFRICAN TRIBAL SPEARS circa late 19th Century, one carved wooden fishing spear with six quadruples of barbs (all broken) and string grips, 87in. overall, one relic condition carved wooden fishing spear with losses and all barbs broken, 77in overall, one with forged iron 7 1/2in. plain blade socket-mounted to wooden shaft with wound copper terminal, one with narrow 10in. forged iron blade socket-mounted to light wooden shaft, 66in. overall, one with forged iron heavily rusted 5in. blade socket-mounted onto wooden shaft with carved ball terminal, 67in. overall, and one Maasai hunting 'Lion' spear with narrow heavily rusted 36in. blade socket-mounted to wooden shaft, missing its lower metal terminal shaft, 47in. overall
