A GROUP OF FOUR AFRICAN TRIBAL SPEARS circa late 19th Century, one Maasai hunter's 'Lion' spear with narrow 35in. forged iron socket-mounted blade, short wooden shaft socket-mounted into forged iron extension, 78in. overall, one Zulu throwing spear with 6 1/2in. leaf blade, long tang mounted into wooden shaft with leather binding, 53in. overall, one Sudanese, forged iron with 9in. narrow leaf blade with hand-guard and flattened terminal to shaft, and one west African with forged iron off-set blade with decorated split socket on wooden shaft with terminal thick wire binding, 74in. overall, all worn and rusted
