probably Spanish, circa 1830s, with 12in. round barrel inlaid with white wire-work, rusted Miquelet lock with missing screws surrounded by crude brass plate repair, wooden stock cracked at the fore-end, engraved dented brass butt-cap, crudely made brass trigger-guard, ram-rod pipe and brass wire used as a barrel-band repair, action at fault, worn and damaged, 19in. overall
