A 15-BORE PERCUSSION SASH-PISTOL SIGNED 'BRETIA', no visible serial number, Spanish circa 1847, with octagonal 6 7/8in. barrel, the central top-flat possibly signed in silver 'RIO PAULINO BRETIA DE EIBAR', the right top flat 'EL ? DU 1857' and the left possibly 'CANONS A DAMAST' along with arabesques and scrolls, the whole badly rubbed, border and scroll engraved back-action lock, chequered walnut three-quarter stock (cracked through below breech), iron furniture including captive ramrod and full grip-straps
