A CASED LIMITED EDITION 'BATTLE OF BRITAIN 50TH ANNIVERSARY' DAGGER, number '5' of 1000 produced, with double edged 9 1/2in. blade etched with scroll-work around a central panel depicting a Spitfire aircraft, the reverse similar but with R.A.F. eagle-wings, moulded and gilded cross-guard, smooth ivorine grip surmounted with a pierced Kings Crown pommel, not supplied with a scabbard, in its makers blue leatherette case with pale blue flock lining, the lid with gold-blocked lettering 'TO COMMEMORATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN' and '1940-1990' all below an R.A.F. device and complete with its certificate
