TWO NUMBERED WHALE TAGS, ONE IN 12 BORE ONE IN .410 ISSUED BY THE BRITISH MUSEUM (NAT. History) LONDON. comprising of two Whale Tags for use in Holland & Holland single barrelled dedicated shotguns,
a 12 bore steel tag 10 inches ( 260mm) long with pointed lead head, stamped on the shaft are the words: "REWARD FOR RETURN TO "DISCOVERY" BRITISH MUSEUM (NAT. HISTORY) LONDON", this steel shafted tag is mounted on a Fiocchi 12 bore live cartridge. The tag is individually numbered,
a second Fiocchi .410 Cal live cartridge is mounted with a 6 inch pointed lead head steel shaft Whale Tag, this too has a similar stamped message, " REWARD FOR RETURN TO BRITISH MUSEUM (NAT HISTORY) LONDON and is individually numbered.
