AN INDIAN TULWAR WITH WHITE-METAL DECORATED HILT, late 18th to early 19th century, curving double fullered 31in. blade false edged for the last 9in. and stamped with repeated incised marks (blade de-laminating in places, dark staining and heavy patches of pitting near tip), typical form guarded hilt fully covered in sheet white metal and decorated with koftgari work to the knucklebow and pommel, further raised white-metal decoration, no scabbard
