A 20-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED COACHING CARBINE SIGNED 'KIL HOLLIT AM WIEN', no visible serial number, circa 1790 with later conversion to percussion, the barrels cut back to 10 3/8in. the top-rib gold lettered 'UPPERSROURG STRASBOURG', bead re-fitted, bevel-edged locks signed 'KIL HOLLIT' and 'AM WIEN', walnut three-quarter stock chequered at the wrist, brass butt-cap with indented edge, wood trigger-guard with brass inlet broad band, brass finial and provision for ramrod (missing)
