circa 1863, with tapering round 3in. iron barrel marked 'B.A. CO PATENTED APRIL 14TH 1863', bead fore-sight, borderline and scroll engraved frame, cylinders with forward sliding chambers on an interrupted thread, single action mechanism with spur trigger, smooth rounded walnut grips, fixed ejector, the whole re-nickelled in antiquity with some subsequent loss to barrel finish (action at fault)
