A 12-BORE 1866 PATENT ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 7007,
circa 1870, 29 3/4in. nitro reproved bold etched damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'TRULOCK & HARRISS. 9 DAWSON ST. DUBLIN.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, wall thicknesses below recommended minimum (right well below), T.W. Webley patent rotary-underlever action, patent no. 3022 of 17th November 1866, use number 1108, carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks, underlever without spring return, fine acanthus scroll engraving with beaded bordering, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 1/2in. stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with crosspin release and horn finial, weight 6lb. 9oz., in its brass-cornered two tiered leather case with tin lift out barrel / ammunition tray with lid, Trulock & Harriss 9 Dawson Street, Dublin trade label, the lid outer embossed 'W. D. MAUNSELL ESQ.', and overlaid with a 'Trulock, Harriss & Richardson - With which is incorporated the Goodwill of the Business of Messrs John Rigby & Co.' packing label
