pre 1875, 29in. black powder only bold damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'J. ADSETT. 4. UPPER BRIDGE STREET. CANTERBURY', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, internally pitted, carved percussion fences, non-rebounding back-action locks with dolphin hammers, triggerguard forming a skeletal pistolgrip, border and acanthus scroll engraving with game scene vignettes of hound and fowl, 14 1/8in. stock including 1/2in. horn buttplate, weight 6lb. 15oz.
