toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, hand-detachable sidelocks, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, semi-selective single trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, best bold Royal scroll engraving, the lockplates gold-inlaid 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', the underside with elaborate cartouches engraved 'ROYAL EJECTOR' and 'HOLLANDS SINGLE TRIGGER', bright finish overall, 14 3/8in. well-figured stock, cast on for the left shoulder, weight 6lb. 6oz., in its leather double guncase with provision for all sets of barrels; the case fitted for the pair and containing two sets of barrels (retaining fore-end) for the No.1 gun, serial no. 33468 (action missing);
