for 1926 and 1930, 28in. nitro reproved barrels, ribs engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS, 67A ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON. S.W.1.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, large ivorine bead fore-sights, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and 1/4 (No.1) and imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.2);
extra 26in. barrels (in 1967), the ribs engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS. 67A. ST. JAMES'S STREET, LONDON. S.W.1.', and gold-inlaid '1A' and '2A' at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke;
treble-grip actions with removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, No.2 missing one lockplate screw, beaded border and bold acanthus scroll engraving, retaining much renewed colour-hardening and finish, 15 1/4in. boldly-figured replacement stocks including 2in. ebonite extensions, matching replacement fore-end woods, weight 6lb. 1oz. (No.1) and 5lb. 15oz. (No.2) with original barrels and 6lb. 2oz. (No.1) and 6lb. (No.2) with extra barrels, in a modern brass-cornered leather motor case, the extra barrels in their own brass-cornered leather barrel case
