with 32 1/4in. blued barrel sighted to 1,000 yards, marked 'OLD RELIABLE' and signed 'SHARPS RIFLE CO. BRIDGEPORT. CONN.', blued action signed 'BORCHARDT PATENT, SHARPS RIFLE CO. BRIDGEPORT CONN., U.S.A.' on the left side, cleaned block and lever, the tang drilled for a folding target aperture sight (absent), walnut three-quarter stock with stamped roundel on the left side of the butt containing the letters 'LB' (faint), iron furniture including chequered heel-plate, two barrel bands and sling mounts, provision for clearing rod, (absent), some shallow pitting to breech and action
