A FIRST PATTERN HITLER YOUTH DIRK,
circa 1936, with 5 3/8in. drop-point blade etched 'Blut und Ehre' on the right side (some mild staining and loss to detail), the reverse with the Puma 'leopard's head' trademark over 'SOLINGEN' and 'GES. GESCHUTZT', plated hilt with turned back quillion (frosting and small losses to plating, mild bruising to backstrap) chequered black composite grip-scales, the right grip-scale with enamelled badge, the left with loss to upper rear corner, in its original black painted scabbard with leather belt loop and press-stud locking strap (surface corrosion to scabbard).
