for between 1962-64, with slender round 14 1/4in. stove enamelled barrel, blade fore-sight, rear-sight notch to the top of the pop-up automatic breech-block, stove enamelled air-chamber marked 'BSA MERLIN' within an arrow trademark and cut with four separate rails for a telescopic sight mount, plain beech half-stock with ribbed heel and under-lever concealed in the fore-end, small losses to enamelled finish but generally collector's external condition, 36 1/4in. overall
