ENGLAND.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. in both, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gas checks, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, partial acanthus scroll engraving, the left lockplate with scenes of partridge in flight over a pastoral panorama, the right with a skein of waterfowl alighting a marshland vista, the underside with a pair of flushed pheasant with a hound in attendance, the triggerplate signed 'D.S. 85', bright finish, 15in. stock including 3/4in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 12oz.
