(73cm) nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt rib, gold-inlaid 'FA DE VICTOR SARASQUETA - EIBAR-' at the breech end and with the Sarasqueta initialled crown and hare trademark, the tubes heavily carved in high relief with ribbon and flower designs surrounding game scene vignettes of red and roe deer, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke;
27 5/8in. (70cm) nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt rib, gold-inlaid 'FA DE VICTOR SARASQUETA - EIBAR-' at the breech end and with the Sarasqueta initialled crown and hare trademark, the tubes heavily carved in high relief with ribbon and flower designs surrounding game scene vignettes of red and roe deer, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, some internal marking;
treble-grip action with hidden third bite, removable striker discs, pierced toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, the action, lockplates and furniture deeply carved with flowing foliate and ribbon motifs, surrounding carved vignettes of hound and fowl to the right, hound chasing hare to the left, the underside with a lion astride a lioness, the triggerguard with wildfowl, bright finish, 14in. figured stock (retractable sling missing) including 7/8in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, fore-end with ejector / non-ejector selector switch, weight 7lb. 1oz. (28 3/4in. barrels) and 6lb. 13oz. (27 5/8in. barrels), in a leather case with provision for both sets of barrels
