W.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in all, No.2 barrels with some staining and external pitting, treble-grip actions with hidden third bites, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the undersides with ovals engraved 'UTILITY MODEL' and gold-inlaid 'XXV', retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 1/2in. figured stocks cast towards central vision, weight 6lb. 1oz. (No.1) and 5lb. 15oz. (No.2), in their 'V.C.' leather motor case, the case lid marked 'N.V. STOPFORD SACKVILLE'
