28in. nitro chopperlump barrels with acanthus scroll engraving at the breech ends, ribs engraved 'A.A. BROWN & SONS. BIRMINGHAM. ENGLAND. SUPREME DE LUXE' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, No.1 right wall at 18, A.A. Brown patent self-opening systems, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', removable striker discs, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators and some gold-washed lockpins, gold-washed triggers, cocking levers and ejector work, rolled-edge triggerguards, bold acanthus scroll engraving surrounding game scenes of wildfowl, French partridge and pheasant, the undersides with portraits of hound and engraved 'SUPREME DE-LUXE', lockplates signed 'W. Howe', bright finish overall, 14 1/4in. well-figured stocks with diamond grips, No.2 likely replacement, weight 6lb. 3oz., in a lightweight leather motor case with Stephen Grant & Joseph Lang Ltd. trade label and nylon outer cover

Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1974 for a Mr Baker (North Worcestershire). They were engraved by Wally Howe who won the Queens Silver Jubilee award for engraving in 1977.
They were completed with 28in. barrels, 2 3/4in. chambers with gold-washed lockwork and incidentals.
