Belgian circa 1865, with octagonal 3 1/4in. barrel, fully fluted six-shot cylinder, open iron frame with folding double-action trigger and exposed spurred hammer, smooth flared walnut grips, the underside of muzzle with drum mounting for the folding flambeau-bladed bayonet locked open via a spring and with tip-guard mounted to frame when folded, the bayonet marked 'DELHAXE BREVETE' (revolver with some areas of cleaning and isolated pitting)
