30 3/8in. bold damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'CHAS. GOLDEN. CHEAPSIDE. BRADFORD. NO. 1023', and with starburst detailing at the breech ends, partial bar-in-wood Golden patent snap-action, patent no. 1612 of 16th May 1868 with unusual variant push forward thumb underlever sitting vertically against front of the triggerguard, the triggerguard curved to accommodate the thumb, carved serpentine fences, non-rebounding sidelocks with ornate hammers of pinfire form, bold acanthus scroll engraving, 14in. highly-figured stock, the stock and fore-end with flat top chequering, weight 7lb.
