LONDON', dove-tailed ramp fore-sight, replacement rear-sight with elevating standing notch, the breech end marked 'PATENT NO. 9711 DETACHABLE BARREL 1564', triangular trademark and Union mark to nocksform, slab-sided Martini-type action marked 'PATENT REMOVABLE ACTION' on the right hand side and 'WESTLEY RICHARDS SHERWOOD RIFLE' on the left, chequered walnut straight-hand butt-stock (tiny chips at head), blanked off swivel holes, iron heel-plate and under-lever, chequered walnut fore-end
