A GOOD .36 PERCUSSION SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'NEW MODEL NAVY COMMERCIAL', serial no. 32512,
late production circa 1875, with blued octagonal 7 3/8in. barrel, pinched blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, the top flat of barrel signed 'PATENTED 12 SEPT 1858' and 'E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION NEWYORK USA' over 'NEW-MODEL', blued solid frame, blued plain cylinder, brass trigger guard and smooth walnut grips, retaining a strong amount of original finish throughout (small chip to toe of right grip)
