circa 1845 and Belgian produced, with round 41in. barrel, applied boat-shaped blade fore-sight, intermediate elevating ladder rear-sight and iron standing notch back-sight to top-tang, moulded snail, plain back-action lock, oversize hammer, walnut full-stock with heavy brass furniture and swollen-ended iron under-barrel ramrod, complete with a period socket bayonet for same, no scabbard
