Spanish circa 1770, with half round, half octagonal Spanish form barrel banded at the intersection, the flats inlaid with yellow metal floral decoration, solid top-tang, plain lock with ring top cock with square jaws, carved mainspring and moulded frizzen, walnut full-stock with carved borders around the iron furniture (numerous old repairs to wood), long side spurs to the bulbous butt-cap and wood ramrod with ivory tip
