late Victorian, 28 1/2in. overall, the top painted with the Royal quartered armorial within a garter, the handle with the coat of arms of Perth around the motto 'PRO REGE LEGE ET GREGE' (for King, Law and People) and the letters and numerals '6' over 'D.1', the body painted with polychrome bands
