second quarter of the 19th century, with 28 1/2in. span bow, iron-mounted walnut stock chequered at the wrist, folding full width fore-sight, scroll engraved action mount with folding rear-sight signed 'CONWAY, No4 BLACKFRIARS MANCHESTER' and pierced with four sighting apertures, cocking lever flush-fitting in the comb (iron parts with staining, retains original string)
