late 19th century, with curving spear-point 23in. blade, both sided decorated for the full length with koftgari scrolls on a nielloed background, further koftgari-work to the false edge and back of blade, plain white metal mounts to hilt, the flaring guard further decorated with beaded bands, rayskin central grip-piece and complete with its wood scabbard (small loss at neck) with narrow wire bands (most absent), the tip of blade with edge-nicks
