A LARGE ITALIAN FOLDING-KNIFE WITH IVORY AND MOTHER OF PEARL SCALES
Sicilian, late 19th century, with 10in. blade false edged for the last 5 1/2in., both blade sides etched with scrolls and one featuring a man in period dress on a swing, the other side an armoured foot soldier, nickel bolsters with triple ball tip, full-length mainspring with an 'à virole' ring-pull release and ivory and mother of pearl scales to both sides separated by a nickel band
