A BRITISH ROYAL SIGNAL CORPS OFFICER'S PATTERN 1897 SWORD IN FIELD SCABBARD, UNSIGNED,
World War Two production and marked 'MADE IN ENGLAND', with straight polished 32 1/2in. blade etched with scrolls and arabesques and featuring the badge of the Royal Signal Corps together with the George VI device, proof mark at forte, pierced nickel-silver half-basket with turned down inner guard and with the GRVI and crown device, wire-bound fishskin grip, chequered back-strap and domed pommel, complete with its pigskin leather covered scabbard (slight spotting to blade)
