A .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR MKI STRAIGHT-GRIP', serial no. 3339,
circa 1925, early production with blued and rifled 7in. barrel, breech with 'BRITISH PATENT No. 219872' and 'FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING', adjustable rear-sight, stepped air-chamber marked with the maker's details and model designation, rotating safety catch and smooth walnut grips, the left inlet with a Webley 'Winged Bullet' medallion, fair amount of finish remaining
