27in. nitro chopperlump barrels, the tubes engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke (both), self-opening actions, toplevers engraved '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, cocking-indicators, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stocks (possible replacements) including 5/8in. leather-covered rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 5oz. (both), in their makers tan leather double motorcase
