25 1/8in. nitro barrel, ramp-mounted fore-sight with bunny ear protectors, with Parker-Hale (no. 134A) fore-sight cover, tangent rear-sight with wind protectors, including Parker-Hale SMLE back-sight cover (no. 462), volley fore-sight removed, rear volley sight replaced with a folding A3 Parker Model 3 sight, manual safety, magazine cut-off, 13 1/4in. full-length stock, stamped 'Canada NRA 1919', with brass butt-plate, canvas sling, together with a canvas bandolier with ten magazine clips

Provenance: The vendor has informed us that this rifle was formerly the property of Mr John Hunter-Moss. The rifle was supplied to him by the British Smallarms Company of Small Heath in 1919 for use in the Great Britain team to Canada. it is the understanding this rifle was used in the victory shoot on Connaught Ranges, Ottawa 1919 and that it won the Grand Aggregate.

This rifle has also won the 'Governor Generals' competition in the hands of Mr. Ed. Marks.

Before departure of Canada in 1919, the rifle had its barrel packed, bedded and regulated for all distances up to 1200 yards by the Bisley Armourer, Stan French.
