Literature: Holts Auctioneers March 2011, Lot 1732

Other Notes: We were kindly informed by the previous vendor that this try-gun was formerly the property of the well-known and influential shot, Jack Kidwell. He used it for both private lessons and those he undertook at the West London Shooting School. The try-gun was presented to the previous vendor by Jack Kidwell's son shortly after his Father's death.
