29 3/4in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'THOMAS BLAND & SONS. 106. STRAND. LONDON. THE FIELD HAMMERLESS GUN', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, toplever action incorporating Dr J.H. Walsh's patents No. 519 of Feb 20th 1866, and 5106 of 13th December 1878, back action sidelocks, gold-inlaid 'SAFE' and arrow detail, safety catch missing, permanently attached fore-end with underlever barrel release lever, 14in. stock including crescentic horn buttplate, weight 6lb. 1oz.
