circa 1910, with octagonal 28 3/4in. barrel, the matted sighting plane fitted with a dove-tailed fore-sight and a triple leaf with additional standing notch rear-sight, the sighting plane also signed 'JOHN TISDALL, SOUTH ST. CHICHESTER & HIGH ST. ARUNDEL ' in a panel and 'AMMUNITION 300' in a cartouche behind and in front of the rear sight respectively, automatic ejector, border and scroll engraved slab-sided hammerless action signed in a banner on both sided 'JOHN TISDALL, top-tang sliding safe, walnut chequered half-pistol-grip butt-stock (toe repaired), domed horn cap to grip and chequered splinter fore-end with push-button release
