for 1880, with browned damascus 28in. barrels, beaded blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, matted finish to the flat top-rib, fully border and scroll engraved top-tang, fully engraved bar-action locks with sliding safes to the dolphin headed hammers (left hammer spur repaired), walnut re-stock with chequered pistol-grip, horn heel-plate and fully engraved iron grip-cap with central trap-door, swing under-lever to the rounded bar action, chequered walnut splinter fore-end with long swing-lever attachment, fitted with eyes for sling
