AN UNUSUAL 11mm (GRAS) SINGLE-SHOT BOLT-ACTION RIFLE SIGNED 'KYNOCH', serial no. 66759,
circa 1877, with 23 1/4in. barrel signed near breech 'KYNOCH GUN FACTORY ASTON' with calibre designation '43-77-380' (badly double-stamped), block and blade fore-sight, adjustable ladder rear-sight, action body marked 'KYNOCH'S-PATENT', bolt with straight handle, walnut three-quarter stock (hairline crack forming behind top-tang at wrist), iron furniture, complete with clearing rod, light staining throughout
