A FINE JAPANESE KATANA IN TACHI MOUNTS WITH PAPERWORK,
attributed to 'Hokkyo' circa 1640, with curving 29in. re-polished blade, unsigned tang with three mount holes, the 'habaki' engraved with a circular 'mon', the whole contained within a shira-saya, together with a court mounting, the hilt bound in green cotton, gilded mounts and tsuba, black laquered saya, the top half bound in green cotton over a gilt embroidered material with twin en-suite suspension mounts (fragile) complete with a wood keeper blade and signed blue and buff papers
