LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, rounded bar action incorporating Scott patent double bite and spindle, patent no. 2752 of 25th October 1865, use number 30067, slender toplever engraved 'PATENT', carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks, articulated front trigger, fine acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish overall, 14in. well-figured stock including partially engraved steel buttplate, chequering refreshed, weight 6lb. 8oz., in its canvas and leather case
