30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, action incorporating Scott patent double bite and spindle, patent no. 2752 of 25th October 1865, use number 25510, carved percussion fences, tang mounted manual safety (possibly later), rebounding sidelocks, fine acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish, 13 3/4in. figured stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge Patent release catch, weight 6lb. 14oz.
