(refreshed), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and true cyl. choke, wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, incorporating Westley Richards single-bite toplever snap-action, possible transitional or converted from pinfire with removable striker bars, Westley Richards patent toplever, carved serpentine fences, rebounding sidelocks with diminutive dolphin hammers of pinfire styling, bar-in-wood, the fore-end meeting at the knuckle in a crab joint, bold acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour with reblued finish, 14in. figured stock including horn buttplate (missing screw), fore-end with well-executed insert repairs and with horn finial, weight 6lb. 3oz.
