published by George Hogarth Turner 1870, first edition, portfolio containing 28 leaves of photographic reproductions and printed captions, tipped on heavy card plates, card covers with maroon cloth spine, with ties believed these portfolios were privately published for the author and given to sporting estates in exchange for deer stalking, only a very small number were commissioned, extremely rare.
