for 1907, with scarcer 7 1/2in. barrel signed and with patent dates to June 5th 1900, fixed sights, blued fluted swing-out cylinder, blued frame, the side-plate stamped 'COLT'S NEW SERVICE' in a circle around the rampant stallion trademark, polished sides to the hammer, 'COLT' embossed chequered hard rubber grips (small losses along one edge) and lanyard ring at heel, strong traces of original finish
