circa 1900, 26in. octagonal black powder only barrel with matted sight flats, dove-tailed bead fore-sight, standing notch rear sight with two folding leaf sights marked for 50, 100 and 150 yards and with white metal inlaid sight lines, engraved 'P. D. MALLOCH. PERTH.', sidelever opening, central hammer, plain action, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock, weight 4lb. 11oz.
