with octagonal Birmingham proofed barrel rifled with two grooves for belted ball, small dovetailed blade front-sight and two leaf rear-sight, hook breech, the fixed breech with some engraved decoration, borderline and foliate engraved detented lock, the makers name 'ANDERSON' to centre surrounded by an engraved rope band, set trigger, walnut half-stocked with a chequered wrist and fitted with iron butt-cap with long tang and trigger-guard, both with some foliate decoration, complete with original rod, chip out of fore-end to area in front of the lock
