LONDON' and the ribs inscribed 'MODEL DE LUXE' with a flash of scroll engraving at the breech-ends and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, carved foliate fences, hold-open toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, hand-detachable sidelocks, gold-inlaid cocking indicators, triggerguards with left rolled-edge, fine acanthus scroll engraving surrounding vignettes of a brace of partridge on the left, the right with a brace of partridge in their naturalistic setting, the undersides with a brace of pheasant in flight with a standing pheasant in attendance, engraved 'MODEL DE LUXE', bright finish, 15 5/8in. stocks, weight 6lb. 13oz..
